Privacy Policy

ProofStack may collect account email, password hashes, session records, product and pain-point submissions, pain-point notification email addresses, newsletter subscriptions, payment status, anonymous product analytics events, and AI assistant usage records. Approved pain-point text, tags, and match results may be displayed publicly; submitter email addresses are never displayed publicly.

Payments are processed by Stripe. ProofStack does not store raw card details.

AI assistant and extraction requests may be sent to the configured AI provider, such as DeepSeek or Google Gemini. Newsletter subscriptions may be synchronized to Buttondown for newsletter delivery and unsubscribe management. Resend may process transactional welcome and pain-point notification emails.

Production deployments use PostgreSQL for persistent application data. Browser localStorage may be used for session tokens, anonymous analytics IDs, preferences, and anonymous case-view metering. Logged-in case-view usage is stored with the account.
